Cellulose Nitrate (CN) membrane filters are inherently hydrophilic, delivering stable particle interception, fast flow speed and distinct surface capture effect.
Featuring evenly distributed micropores, CN membranes are ideal for general lab filtration scenarios that require suspended solids and microorganisms to be trapped on the membrane surface for subsequent testing.
CN membranes boast favorable water wetting performance and stable filtration capacity for conventional analytical and microbiological experiments. They are widely adopted in water quality detection, particle measurement, colony enumeration and sample clarification.
Notably, CN membranes exhibit relatively high protein adsorption, so they fit applications where protein binding is permissible, instead of tests demanding high protein recovery or low non-specific adsorption.
